Among the countries of the region, the largest number of cattle is recorded in:

• Russia — 16.5 million heads (+2.5%),

• Uzbekistan — 14.1 million heads (+2.3%),

• Kazakhstan — 8.9 million heads (+2.7%).

Kyrgyzstan maintained a consistently high level: 2 million 32.8 thousand heads — 100.2% compared to April 2024, indicating a balanced state of the livestock industry.

The highest growth rates were recorded in:

• Tajikistan — +4.5% (up to 1.3 million heads),

• Kazakhstan — +2.7%,
  exceeding the average level in the CIS.

At the same time, a decrease in livestock was recorded in several countries:

• Azerbaijan — decrease to 1.8 million heads (−2.2%),

• Armenia — to 600 thousand heads (−0.7%).
