Poland Becomes the Largest Buyer of Ukrainian Condensed Milk
The largest market was Poland, accounting for 16.8% of export revenue. Germany took second place with a share of 13.3%, followed by Bulgaria (12.1%).
Meanwhile, exports of non-condensed milk and cream from Ukraine decreased. In 2025, shipments amounted to 21.9 thousand tons, which is 17.7% less compared to the previous year.
Despite the reduction in physical volume, the monetary value of exports remained almost unchanged, increasing by 1.1% to $17.8 million.
Moldova remains the main market for this product, accounting for 91.3% of export revenue, followed by Georgia (2.9%) and Armenia (2.6%).
The expansion of Ukrainian agricultural exports to European Union countries occurs amid ongoing tensions in the region's agricultural markets.
In January 2026, Polish farmers once again held protests at the border with Ukraine. Among the protesters' demands were the cessation of Ukrainian agricultural and food product imports to the EU and a review of the free trade agreement between the European Union and MERCOSUR countries.
Polish Minister of Agriculture Stefan Kraevsky previously stated that the current EU protective measures regarding Ukrainian agricultural imports remain insufficient.
