Kazakhstan Increases Dairy Product Exports by 14.8% to $37.3 Million

The most significant growth was seen in the export of powdered and condensed milk, with volumes increasing by 2.6 times to 1.9 thousand tons. Kazakhstani condensed and powdered milk were exported to Russia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and China.
Exports of milk and cream also rose significantly, by 1.8 times, reaching 2.8 thousand tons. The main importers were Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Armenia.
The export of yogurt, kefir, and ryazhenka increased by 27.2%, totaling 11.4 thousand tons. These products were shipped to Russia, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Georgia, and Armenia.
At the same time, some products saw a decline. The export of butter and spreads fell almost threefold to 1 thousand tons, with shipments mainly going to Russia, Mongolia, and Turkmenistan.
Sales of cheese and cottage cheese decreased by 27.4% to 1.7 thousand tons. The primary buyers were Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Mongolia, and Armenia.
