Cheese and Curd Exports from Russia Increased by 17% in January-August 2025, Exceeding $110 Million
The key importers of Russian products remain Kazakhstan and Belarus, consistently providing the main volume of external sales.
The top ten largest buyers also include:

Uzbekistan, which strengthened its position and rose in the ranking;

Kyrgyzstan, taking 4th place;

Azerbaijan, maintaining its 5th position;

Armenia, which rose to 6th place;

China, becoming one of the new export destinations;

Georgia, Turkmenistan, and Tajikistan, rounding out the top 10.
Mongolia and Ukraine have exited the list of largest importers.
According to Rosstat, in the first eight months of 2025, Russian enterprises produced 571 thousand tons of cheese, which is 0.3% less than a year earlier. However, by the end of nine months, there is an observed production growth of 0.8% to 645 thousand tons.
