Dairy Australia Farmer Forum: Navigating Feedbase, Climate, and Generational Transition

The forum will unfold with informative sessions in the afternoon and evening, including a panel discussion where dairy farmers will share insights on how they've adapted their feedbase and risk management strategies to enhance resilience in the face of a changing climate. Farmers from the Murray region, including Jacob Gardiner, Deanne Hore, and Dustin Kemp, will provide valuable perspectives based on their experiences.

The evening segment will shift focus towards investing in the next generation of farmers. A panel discussion will include young farmers from Kiewa Valley, Katandra West, Rochester, and Tatura, shedding light on their participation in a recent leadership development program.

The venue for the farmer forum is Moama RSL, offering an opportunity for both in-person attendance and online participation. While there is no cost to attend the forum, registration is required by November 20 for catering purposes.
