Argentina's agro-industrial exports to Asia and America reach their highest level in five years
According to the Ministry of Economy's Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock, and Fisheries, the first two months of 2025 witnessed the highest export volumes in five years to regions including Asia, South America, and North America.

Comparisons to the first two months of 2024 reveal increased sales to Europe, Oceania, and Africa. In Asia, exports surpassed $2.6 billion, accounting for over 38% of all exports, with significant contributions from sectors like soy, maize, and beef. Growth in countries such as India, Vietnam, and Bangladesh has been pivotal. In South America, more than $1.4 billion worth of goods were exported, notably to Chile, Ecuador, and Peru. North America's purchases totaled over $228 million, with the U.S. driving most sales.

Overall, 27 agro-industrial complexes recorded increased sales, with significant growth in rice (+221%), sweet citrus fruits (+209%), and other product categories. Furthermore, Argentina opened 20 new markets in early 2025, notably in China and the Philippines, enhancing prospects for continued export growth.
