Kazakhstan exported over 2,000 tons of dairy products worth $3.1 million in January

Kazakhstan's dairy industry continues to show export activity despite some production declines. January data indicates a slight decrease in the production of milk and cream to 50.6 thousand tons (-0.3%).

Production of condensed and powdered milk in Kazakhstan also decreased by 20% (297 tons), while cheese and cottage cheese production fell by 21% (to 3.3 thousand tons). At the same time, the fermented milk segment showed a 2% increase (20.4 thousand tons), and butter production grew by 5% (2.3 thousand tons).
Exports in January amounted to over 2,000 tons of dairy products worth $3.1 million, which is 0.3% higher than the same period last year.
