DairyRally Georgia Participants to Visit Tsivis Cheese Dairy in Kakheti on Day One
DairyRally Georgia 2026 — a road rally organized by DairyNews.today — will take place in Georgia from June 14 to 18, 2026. The route will span from Tbilisi to Batumi, covering approximately 845 km, combining professional visits to dairy enterprises, farms, dairies, and introducing key gastronomic regions of the country.
One of the stops on the route will be Tsivis Cheese (ცივის ყველი). This is a family-owned dairy enterprise founded in 2008 by Gocha Gagashvili. The enterprise produces about 70 types of cheese from cow and buffalo milk, including guda, sulguni, smoked sulguni, and other traditional and signature varieties. A unique feature of the production is its status as the only kosher dairy enterprise in Georgia.

For the participants of DairyRally Georgia, the visit to Tsivis Cheese will be an opportunity to see how artisanal cheesemaking in Georgia is developing at the intersection of family business, local traditions, tourism, and modern quality standards. The enterprise offers production tours, cheesemaking workshops, and tastings.
As part of DairyRally Georgia 2026, participants will not only visit Tsivis Cheese but also other major dairy enterprises and farms in Georgia. The organizers will provide separate details about each of them.
