Russia Increases Agricultural Exports to Belarus to a Record $3 Billion

The key source of growth was the supply of meat and meat products. Pork exports, including by-products, increased 12.5 times—from $19 million in 2018 to $241 million in 2024. Beef supplies reached $27 million (a 6.4-fold increase), and poultry meat reached $21 million (more than a 13-fold increase).
The supply of cheese and cottage cheese grew 1.7 times, to $24 million, and ice cream increased 3.7 times, to $11 million.
Exports of oil and fat products also showed explosive growth. Soybean meal and cake shipments increased from $230,000 to $142 million, sunflower meal to $133 million (4.4 times). Sunflower oil exports grew to $105 million (+71%), rapeseed oil to $16 million (6.8 times), and soybean oil to $14 million (20 times).
Confectionery products showed high dynamics: flour and bakery products reached $151 million (+94% compared to 2018), chocolate products $133 million (+72%), and sugary products $60 million (+81%).
Fish exports to Belarus multiplied: frozen fish reached $68 million (+66%), fish fillets and meat $53 million (9-fold increase), and crustaceans $7 million (2.7 times).
The non-alcoholic beverages segment showed more than double growth. The exports were:
