Purabi Dairy Expands Retail Network with New Milk Booth in Assam
Purabi Dairy, in collaboration with the Guwahati Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA), has inaugurated its second Milk Booth at Adabari Atal Udyan. This initiative is part of a strategic effort to increase the availability of dairy products in urban areas with high pedestrian traffic.
The opening of the Milk Booth marks a significant step in Purabi's retail expansion strategy. Located in a popular public park, the booth aims to serve both residents and visitors, providing convenient access to fresh dairy products. This is the second such installation under the partnership with GMDA, highlighting the importance of leveraging public infrastructure for retail distribution.
Purabi Dairy's efforts are focused on enhancing the dairy supply chain, ensuring timely product availability, and maintaining quality standards. The initiative supports the broader goal of promoting safe consumption of processed dairy products, which is crucial in urban consumption hubs.
This expansion also aligns with Purabi's objective to encourage healthier dietary habits by making quality-checked milk and related items readily available. The strategic placement of these booths in public spaces underscores the importance of direct retail touchpoints in densely populated cities.
The success of this model could pave the way for further scaling and replication in other municipal areas, providing valuable insights for international dairy sector manufacturers and investors looking to optimize agribusiness operations through effective public-private partnerships.
