The production of drinking milk in Russia from January to December 2025 increased by 0.1% compared to the same period in 2024, reaching 6.11 million tons.

Consumption of drinking milk from January to November 2025 rose by 0.9%, totaling 5.76 million tons.

Meanwhile, the stocks of drinking milk at dairy processing enterprises increased by 35% by early January 2026, reaching 61 thousand tons.

In contrast, the production figures in the segment of drinking cream showed a decline. By the end of 2025, output decreased by 9.5% to 331.1 thousand tons. Consumption from January to November dropped by 7.2%, amounting to 310.7 thousand tons.

Stocks of drinking cream by the beginning of January 2026 grew by 1% to 8.6 thousand tons.

Overall, the production of whole milk products in Russia from January to December 2025 decreased by 0.1%, totaling 12.01 million tons. Meanwhile, consumption from January to November increased by 0.4% to 11.41 million tons.
