Indonesia Increased Palm Oil Exports by 69% in July

In July 2025, Indonesia exported 2.99 million tons of palm oil, which is 69% more than the previous year (1.77 million tons), according to analysts from the German agency Oil World. However, this figure was slightly below the June level (3.04 million tons).

The key destinations for shipments were:

India — 655 thousand tons (of which 621 thousand tons were crude palm oil),

China — 388 thousand tons,

Pakistan — 361 thousand tons,

EU — 194 thousand tons.
According to data from the Central Statistics Bureau of Indonesia (Badan Pusat Statistik, BPS), from January to July 2025, the export of unrefined and refined palm oil amounted to 13.64 million tons, which is 10.95% higher than the previous year's level.
Indonesia is also promoting export cooperation with countries of the Global South and insists on opening the EU market for the supply of biofuel made from palm oil.
