EuroTier 2026 to Present Programme on Dairy Farming and Cattle Veterinary Care
EuroTier 2026, which will take place in Hanover from November 10 to 13, will feature events focused on cattle farming, herd management, and veterinary care. The main theme of the 2026 exhibition is “Intelligence in Animal Farming,” DairyNews.today reports, citing the event organizer, the German Agricultural Society (DLG).
The International Cattle & Pig Event will take place on November 11. Experts from agribusiness, science, farming, and government will discuss current trends in livestock farming, the economic efficiency of farms, animal welfare, and sustainable production technologies.
International Farmers Day will also be held on the same day. In 2026, the spotlight countries will be the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Poland. The programme will include presentations and discussions on agricultural development, industry strategies, and technologies used in these countries.
DLG-VetCon, a conference for veterinarians working with farm animals and herd management, will be held for the first time on November 12–13. Its main areas of focus will include animal health, veterinary support for farms, feeding technologies, and production performance management.
Scientific developments in livestock farming will be presented at the Science Campus. Universities, research organizations, and technical colleges will showcase research findings and technological solutions for agricultural production.
According to DLG, EuroTier 2026 is expected to attract around 2,100 companies from more than 50 countries. The exhibition will cover animal housing and feeding technologies, veterinary care, equipment, and digital solutions for livestock farm management.
