The relevant decree by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food was published on the National Legal Portal and came into force on March 11, 2026. According to the document, the minimum export price for milk and cream with a fat content of no more than 1.5% (including condensed or dry) for countries outside Russia has been increased by $0.15 to $2.6 per kg.

For products with a fat content of more than 1.5%, delivered to countries outside the CIS (except Georgia), the price increased by $0.1 to $3 per kg.

Meanwhile, for the Russian market, export prices remain unchanged. The minimum price for milk and cream with a fat content of up to 1.5% is 235 Russian rubles per kg, and for dry dairy products, it is 170 rubles per kg.

In recent months, Belarus has been actively adjusting its pricing policy in foreign markets. Previously, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, on the contrary, reduced the minimum export prices for certain types of cheeses for Russia.

The discussion about the increasing presence of Belarusian dairy products in the Russian market is intensifying. Russian processors note that Belarusian producers have a price advantage: the difference in the cost of raw milk is about 20%.
