Xandô Expands Logistics Capacity with New Distribution Center
Xandô has inaugurated a new distribution center located in the Lapa area of São Paulo, marking a significant step in its expansion strategy. The facility allows the company to triple its logistics capacity, thereby improving its supply chain efficiency and supporting business growth.
The new center boasts a constructed area of 1,950 square meters and can accommodate 600 pallet positions. This expansion is designed to enhance the storage and dispatch capabilities of the company within the Greater São Paulo region. The location was strategically chosen to facilitate distribution and decrease delivery times to Central, North, West, and South regions of the city, where a substantial portion of Xandô's client base is located.
In addition to increased physical capacity, the distribution center incorporates advanced technological resources focused on inventory control, product traceability, and logistics management. According to Xandô, these tools are aimed at improving operational control and efficiency in receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
The modernization of logistics operations is a core part of Xandô's strategy to bolster its operational capacity amid business expansion. Eduardo Jakus, the company's general manager, stated that the new distribution center represents a step forward in sustaining growth and enhancing efficiency across the distribution chain, reinforcing the company's commitment to quality, speed, and customer service.
The facility is also designed to adopt continuous improvement and sustainability practices. These include initiatives aimed at waste reduction, material recycling, and optimizing transportation routes to achieve greater operational efficiency in logistics activities.
