Raw Milk Prices in Central Asia: Kyrgyzstan — Up to 48 Soms, Kazakhstan — Equivalent to 37 Soms per Liter
The range of purchasing prices is as follows:

Chuy Region — from 35 to 47 soms per liter,

Talas Region — from 32 to 41 soms,

Issyk-Kul Region — from 34 to 48 soms.
The ministry specifies that the basic cost is set for milk with a fat content of 3.4% according to the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic dated December 2, 2024, No. 724. The actual price is adjusted considering the quality of the raw material and regional conditions.
In Central Asian countries, approaches to forming purchasing prices for raw milk vary, and official statistics are not available in all states of the region.
In Kazakhstan at the beginning of 2026, the average purchasing price of raw milk from farmers is estimated at about 220 tenge per liter, which is equivalent to approximately 37 soms. As in Kyrgyzstan, the cost varies depending on the region, quality of milk, and supply conditions.
In Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, official data on purchasing prices from agricultural producers are not available in open sources. However, market assessments show that in Uzbekistan, the price of fresh milk is formed at the level of 56–61 soms per liter, while in Tajikistan, retail prices fluctuate in a wider range — from 48 to 80 soms per liter.
