The Third Salon of Peruvian Cheese 2025: A Gourmet Celebration in Lima

The Third Salon of Peruvian Cheese 2025 is set to be a grand event from May 22nd to 25th in Lima, celebrating the culinary heritage and innovation of Peru’s cheese industry. More than 150 producers will showcase over 50 cheese varieties, including both classic and innovative styles with unique ingredients like cecina and rocoto.

The event highlights the importance of cheese making in Peru, with over 55% of the nation's fresh milk production dedicated to artisanal dairy products. The event will feature more than 100 stands, demonstrations, and interactive activities like cheese tasting rooms, specialized equipment showcases, and business networking to enhance industry competitiveness.

The Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation will inaugurate the event, underlining its cultural and economic significance for local small and medium-sized producers. With its largest edition yet, the third iteration aims to exceed the previous year’s cheese production record of 158,310 tonnes, marking an 8.27% increase since 2021.

The Salon is not merely an exhibition; it’s a celebration of Peru’s dairy sector and its innovative spirit, aiming to unite tradition with modern flavor profiles in a gastronomic experience like no other.
