Butter Prices in Russia Increased by 5 in November%

According to Rosstat, in November 2024, butter prices in Russia increased by 5.04%, which was the most significant increase among dairy products.
In addition to butter, the rise in price also affected other categories of dairy products:
Sour cream: +3.5%;
Drinking cream, hard, semi-hard and soft cheeses: +3.4%;
Drinking milk: +3.0%;
Dairy products: +2.7%;
Cottage cheese: +2.4%;
Processed cheeses and yogurt: +2.1%;
National cheeses and cheese: +1.8%;
Condensed milk with sugar: +1.7%.
Experts attribute the price increase to seasonal factors, an increase in producer costs, including an increase in the price of feed and energy, as well as an increase in demand for dairy products on the eve of winter.
