Russia Increases Export of Milk and Cream in Packaging by 23%
According to a joint forecast by OECD and FAO for the period 2025-2034, key trends in the global dairy market include:

the highest growth rates in the consumption of fresh dairy products will be in Asia, particularly in India and Pakistan;

global milk production will increase due to improved animal productivity;

India and Pakistan will account for more than 50% of the global production growth;

about 70% of the world's milk exports will come from New Zealand, the EU, and the USA;
-
in high-income countries, demand for plant-based milk alternatives will continue to rise.
Geography of Russian Exports
The main destinations for Russian packaged milk and cream exports remain the CIS countries and the EAEU. The top five importing countries by value are:

Kazakhstan — 54% of the total export volume,

Kyrgyzstan — 11%,

Belarus — 10%,

Abkhazia — 7%,

Georgia — 6%.
Structure of Supplies
The largest share of export revenue comes from products with a fat content above 10% — over 18 million USD. A comparable volume in monetary terms is provided by the supply of unsweetened milk and cream with a fat content from 1% to 6% — about 18 million USD.
