Russia Becomes the Leading Ice Cream Supplier to Uzbekistan in the First Half of 2025

The Russian Federation has taken the leading position among ice cream exporting countries to Uzbekistan by the end of the first half of 2025. According to published data, from January to June 2025, Uzbekistan increased its import of ice cream and frozen products by one-third compared to the same period last year, reaching a volume of 1824 tons with a total value of 9.4 million USD.

The import growth amounted to 440 tons compared to the first half of 2024, indicating a 1.3-fold increase in supplies.
Russia became the key supplier of ice cream to the Uzbek market, accounting for 828 tons, or 45.4% of the total imports. Kazakhstan, which supplied 648 tons, and China, with a volume of 187 tons, were also among the main exporters. The report does not specify the dynamics of supplies from Russia.
By the end of 2024, Uzbekistan was the second-largest buyer of Russian ice cream, purchasing products worth 5.2 million USD, which exceeded the previous period's figures by 12%.
