Dairy Production in Kyrgyzstan Increases by 26.4% in Early 2026
Kyrgyzstan has recorded a significant increase in dairy production for January-February 2026. The production volume reached 2.71 billion soms, increasing by 26.4% compared to the same period last year.
According to statistical data, the production volume in February amounted to 1.43 billion soms compared to 1.33 billion soms a year earlier. Meanwhile, the physical volume index on a monthly basis was 98.3%, indicating a slight slowdown in dynamics during the month.
Despite this, the cumulative figures for the two months confirm a steady growth in the industry. Key factors include the expansion of agricultural raw material processing and an increase in domestic demand for dairy products.
