Newly Elected Leaders Assume Roles on Wisconsin Dairy Board
The recent elections for Wisconsin's dairy board concluded with the selection of nine new members from a pool of eleven candidates. The election process, which saw participation from across America's Dairyland, ended on May 22, 2026. This election is part of the state's efforts to maintain transparency and regulatory compliance in its agricultural promotional programs, overseen by the Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP).
The elected board members come from a wide range of regions, reflecting the geographic diversity of Wisconsin's dairy industry. Evan Hillan from Ladysmith will represent District 1, covering the northern counties of Lincoln, Ashland, Bayfield, Burnett, Douglas, Iron, Rusk, Sawyer, and Washburn. In District 4, Andrew Christenson from Amery will serve the counties of Barron and Polk.

Other elected representatives include Jonathon Hallock of Mondovi for District 13, which spans Buffalo, Pepin, and Pierce counties, and Janet Clark of Eldorado for District 16, covering Fond du Lac, Green Lake, and Marquette counties.
Mark Crave from Watertown will oversee District 19, which includes Columbia and Dodge counties. Patrick R. Schroeder from Lancaster has been chosen for District 22, representing Grant County, and Kristen Metcalf of Milton will represent District 25, covering Green, Rock, and Walworth counties. These appointments complete the board's governance structure.
