milkrite | InterPuls acquires milking hygiene specialist ADF
ADF's Dipping & Flushing System is intended to make hygiene procedures during and after milking more precise, consistent and automated.
The technology is designed to help maintain udder health, support longer productive lives for cows and improve milking-parlour productivity. Reducing the labour needed for these processes is another of its aims.
Craig Sage, chief executive of milkrite | InterPuls, said ADF had built a reputation for helping farmers improve animal health and increase productivity and efficiency.
Sage said bringing ADF's technology together with his company's existing products and international reach offered an opportunity to deliver greater value to dairy farmers globally.
milkrite | InterPuls supplies equipment for the milking point and has operations in Europe, North America, Brazil and China. It belongs to the DeLaval Group but operates as a separate company, directing its own strategy and business activities.
