The storage tank will benefit local cattle ranchers in Mazatlán, highlighted the president of the Cattle Association, José Antonio Lizárraga.

The installation of a milk collection tank by Liconsa aims to support local ranchers by offering better pricing, especially for milk used in cheese production. This initiative, set to occur in the El Recreo community north of Mazatlán, promises financial relief to ranchers struggling with low milk prices. José Antonio Lizárraga, president of the Mazatlán Cattle Association, stressed the importance of this project during a property distribution meeting with state and Liconsa representatives.
The project involves setting up a facility where Liconsa will buy milk from local ranchers at a higher price than what cheese producers currently offer. Adjustments in the property are expected to accommodate the tank and laboratory for future operations. The state government is tasked with overseeing the construction.
