Kazakhstan Increases Import of Dairy Products from Iran and Belarus

Imports of butter increased by 27.2%, reaching 4.4 thousand tons.
The main supplier was Iran, which increased its exports by 1.6 times to 1.6 thousand tons.
There was also an increase in supplies from:

Belarus — by 16.3% (to 976.6 tons),

Kyrgyzstan — by 13% (to 518 tons),

Ukraine — by 3.7 times (to 374.5 tons).
Supplies from Russia (450 tons) and France (486 tons) decreased by 6.8% and 16.2%, respectively.
Yogurts and Fermented Dairy Products
Purchases of yogurts, kefir, ryazhenka, and sour cream increased by 16.6%, reaching 30.8 thousand tons. The main suppliers are Russia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, and Cyprus.
Whey
Imports of dairy whey grew by 18%, reaching 7 thousand tons. Notable increases in supplies were from:

Belarus — by 2.2 times,

Italy — by 1.7 times.
Additionally, products are supplied from Russia and Lithuania.
Condensed and Powdered Milk
Imports in this category decreased by 1.4%, to 21 thousand tons. Decreases were noted from:

Russia — by 20.2% (8.2 thousand tons),

Kyrgyzstan — by 3.4 times (586.6 tons),
-
France — by 2.5 times (216 tons).
However, Iran increased its supplies 7 times to 1 thousand tons. Growth was also recorded for Uruguay (3 times, to 375 tons) and Belarus (+31.6%, to 10.5 thousand tons).
Cheese and Curd
Imports of cheese and curd fell by 8.3%, to 24.6 thousand tons. Supplies decreased from:

Russia — by 3.7% (10.8 thousand tons),

Belarus — by 7.5% (7.8 thousand tons),

Lithuania — by 3% (1.2 thousand tons),

Germany — by 30% (132 tons).
Milk and Cream
Purchases of milk and cream decreased by 9.2%, to 19.1 thousand tons. The main suppliers are Russia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Iran, France, and Italy. Meanwhile, supplies from Iran doubled to 1.9 thousand tons.
