Cheese and Curd Imports from Belarus to Kyrgyzstan Increase Fivefold in 2025
In 2025, Kyrgyzstan significantly increased its purchases of cheese and curd from Belarus, boosting imports fivefold in physical terms. According to the National Statistics Committee, the total supply from January to December 2025 amounted to 8,000 tons valued at $7.4 million.
In the previous year, the republic imported 1,600 tons of cheese and curd for $6 million.
Despite the fivefold increase in physical volume, the cost rise was significantly more moderate, indicating a substantial decrease in the average price of the imported products.
