According to the latest data from the Unified Interdepartmental Information and Statistical System (EMISS), in July 2025, the average price of cattle feed in Russia reached 22,600 rubles per ton. This figure is 1.0% higher than the June values and shows an increase of 15.5% compared to the same period last year. Since the beginning of this year, the cost of feed has increased by 6.3%.

Analyzing the price dynamics since January 2023, the lowest point was recorded in February 2023, when a ton of feed cost 16,800 rubles. The highest price was noted in May 2025 — 22,900 rubles per ton.
Regional price differentiation remains significant. In July 2025, the highest prices for cattle feed were observed in the Far Eastern Federal District, where the cost per ton was 28,700 rubles. The most affordable feed was recorded in the Siberian Federal District — 16,500 rubles per ton.
This rise in feed prices may significantly impact the production costs of milk and meat, affecting the profitability of dairy and meat farms across Russia.
