On July 8, Belarus' Ministry of Agriculture and Food announced a reduction in the minimum export prices for certain dairy products, excluding sales to Russia.
As per the resolution published on the National Legal Internet Portal, the price for butter with a milk fat content of over 72% but less than 80% will now be $7 per kg compared to the previous $7.30 per kg for markets other than Russia.
The price for the Russian market is unchanged at 580 Russian rubles per kg. President Alexander Lukashenko has expressed concerns over challenges in the Russian market and emphasized the need for export diversification.
