Fonterra Raises Milk Collections as Dairy Demand Shifts

Fonterra’s milk collections have risen alongside a gradual recovery in aggregate production across the main dairy-exporting regions. The cooperative’s increased intake is occurring as a larger global supply base becomes available to international buyers.

International purchasing patterns are changing at the same time. Global buyers are revising procurement strategies, with shifts described as structural rather than limited to short-term changes in buying activity.
