The inaugural Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board (AHDB) Dairy Export Conference focused on global opportunities and future priorities for British dairy products. The conference, supported by the Provision Trade Federation (PTF) and RM Boulanger, assembled industry stakeholders to explore the UK's trading relationships and set sector priorities. The event followed a successful first half of 2025, with UK dairy exports increasing by 20% year-on-year to £1.1 billion.
AHDB's efforts supported 36 UK companies at 14 global events, promoting Cheddar, whey, infant formula, and premium dairy products. The conference hosted around 60 delegates who discussed export opportunities and shared insights from ongoing export journeys. Lucy Randolph, AHDB's head of international trade development for dairy, emphasized the importance of collaboration, while Rod Addy, PTF director general, noted the potential in volatile markets. 'Collaborative working is key to helping ensure our dairy exports continue to thrive,' Randolph noted. Our aim is to continue supporting our exporters to help build on what has been achieved to date.'
