As part of the touring Festival of Regenerative Farming, run by First Milk—the farmer-owned dairy co-operative behind Golden Hooves—the event promises a day filled with delicious food, fun, and thought-provoking activities. Attendees can look forward to cheese tastings, local food and crafts, a bouncy castle, and nature walks, with wellies recommended for the adventurous worm and beetle safari that teaches about soil regeneration.

Woodhouse Farm’s Robert and Lucy Noad have embraced the regenerative farming movement and aim to make sustainably farmed dairy products more accessible. Their new vending station allows visitors to purchase regenerative milk directly fr om self-service machines, which also supply a milkshake vending machine offering a range of unique, clean flavors.

Additionally, another machine will be stocked with Golden Hooves’ award-winning cheeses such as Mature Cheddar, Vintage Cheddar, Smoked Cheddar, and Red Leicester, alongside free-range eggs from the Noad children, Joseph and Lottie. Local products from Wiltshire Chilli Farm, The Slow Vinegar Company, and sweet and savory bakes from The Lamb on the Strand, made using Woodhouse Farm’s milk and Golden Hooves cheese, will also be available.

Lucy Noad expressed her enthusiasm: “We love how we farm; working with nature, caring for our cows, and now we are going to be meeting our local community too. We hope that the milk vending machine will be more than just somewhere to buy milk; it will be a way for us to share our news of how dairy farming is a force for good in the fight against climate change. We hope that customers will buy our tasty, regenerative milk and milkshakes and join our community in the regen revolution.”

Leona McDonald, director of Golden Hooves, added: “We have been blown away by Robert and Lucy’s vision, drive, and commitment to regenerating the earth. We’re super excited to be launching our latest Golden Hooves vending site at Woodhouse Farm. This selection of milk, cheese, and more definitely gets our Stomp of Approval.”

The event invites everyone to engage more with wh ere their food comes from, offering a chance to meet farm animals, enjoy the countryside, and taste delicious local foods while learning about regenerative agriculture as a solution to climate change.
