The UK Dairy Day 2024 marked its 10th anniversary in grand style, attracting thousands of visitors to what has become the premier event for the British dairy industry. Held on Wednesday, September 11, this year’s event featured over 280 trade stands, showcasing the full spectrum of dairy-related products and services, with 100 of those exhibitors having participated since the event’s inception in 2014.
The event, which remains a key date on the dairy calendar, once again proved to be a major highlight, particularly with the presence of more than 150 dairy cows displayed in the spotlight, making it the largest dairy showcase in the UK. The competitive spirit was strong as a variety of awards were handed out for trade stands, with BCW Agriculture winning the Best Small Trade Stand Award, Nettex securing the Best Medium Trade Stand Award, KW Feeds taking home the Best Large Trade Stand Award, and GLW Feeds earning the Best External Trade Stand Award.

Among them, Marcel Egli from Switzerland judged the National Holstein Show, while Ian Collins adjudicated the National Ayrshire Show and Guernsey classes. Blaise Tomlinson oversaw the National Brown Swiss Show, and Paul Harrison judged the Dairy Shorthorn classes.
