European Union to Showcase Dairy and Other Agri-Food Products at Anuga Select India 2026
The European Union will serve as the Official Partner Region of Anuga Select India 2026, which will take place from September 29 to October 1 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai. The European Commission will host an EU Pavilion at the event, showcasing dairy products and cheeses, among other categories.
The European exhibition will focus on the quality, safety, traceability, and sustainability of agri-food products. In addition to dairy products, it will feature bakery and confectionery ingredients, meat products, cereal-based products, specialty agricultural products, and regional foods.
The pavilion’s programme will include tastings, cooking demonstrations, expert-led events, and business meetings. Indian importers, distributors, retailers, and HoReCa professionals will be able to discover European products and discuss opportunities to supply them to the local market.
The EU’s participation in the event has been confirmed by the European Commission. The Commission views the exhibition as a platform for promoting European food and beverages and developing connections between suppliers and Indian buyers.
The organizers of Anuga Select India expect more than 400 exhibitors from over 45 countries. The total exhibition area is expected to exceed 13,500 square metres. National pavilions and individual companies from Saudi Arabia, Thailand, the Philippines, South Korea, China, Türkiye, Spain, Indonesia, Brazil, Italy, Germany, and Georgia are also expected to participate.
The exhibition will bring together food and ingredient manufacturers, importers and exporters, distributors, retail chains, food service companies, investors, and industry associations. The business programme will include sourcing activities, product presentations, and meetings between exhibitors and buyers.
For European dairy companies, participation in Anuga Select India presents additional opportunities to promote cheeses, specialized dairy ingredients, and value-added products. The Indian market attracts international manufacturers due to the scale of domestic demand, the development of modern retail, and growing interest in imported food products.
