Yili Group Leads Global Dairy Innovations at 2026 Conference

The 2026 World Dairy Industry Conference officially commenced on August 1 in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia, under the auspices of Yili Group. The conference, themed 'Technology-driven, Partnership Oriented, Co-building a Sustainable Global Dairy Ecosystem', gathered leaders from international industry associations, academicians, and executives from the global dairy sector.

During the opening ceremony, Hohhot was awarded the title of World Dairy Capital by the International Union of Food Science and Technology (IUFoST). Dr. Pavinee Chinachoti, Executive President of IUFoST, highlighted the city's efforts in advancing the dairy industry and encouraged enterprises like Yili Group to continue driving innovation in the global health food sector.

Pan Gang, Chairman and President of Yili Group, delivered a keynote speech titled 'Shared Value, Mutual Harmony, Building a New Global Dairy Ecosystem'. He addressed challenges such as technological advancements, supply chain restructuring, and climate change. Pan Gang emphasized Yili's commitment to innovation and partnership, aiming to transform the global dairy industry through shared value and mutual harmony.

The conference also saw the launch of the China (Global) Dairy Data Intelligent Hub and the Global Dairy High-Quality Datasets Factory. Additionally, the China National Technology Innovation Center for Dairy (NTICD) presented its Top 10 Innovation Achievements of 2026. These achievements include advancements in dairy cow breeding, feed reduction technologies, probiotic research, lactoferrin production, inspection systems, and packaging recycling.
