The University of Wyoming partners with Dairy Max for a groundbreaking NIL deal featuring a live dairy cow and promoting chocolate milk for athlete recovery.

The University of Wyoming announced a unique Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) deal with Dairy Max, incorporating a live dairy cow, a first in the NIL space. This collaboration is aimed at promoting the benefits of chocolate milk for athlete recovery. Four University of Wyoming student-athletes—football players Jack Walsh, Caden Barnett, and Caleb Merritt, and rodeo athlete Kaylee Simshauser—are featured in commercials as part of the campaign. "This campaign shows what's possible when creativity meets strong partnerships," said Jennie McDowell, Dairy MAX CEO and UW alumna. The campaign emphasizes the vital role of dairy in nutrition and recovery for athletes. Dairy Max has been sponsoring Wyoming athletics since 2019, and this partnership further strengthens the relationship, according to UW Director of Athletics Tom Burman.
