Organized jointly by the Vietnam Dairy Association (VDA) and Vietnam Advertisement and Fair Exhibition JSC (VIETFAIR), the event will serve as a platform for both domestic and international firms to exhibit their latest offerings in the dairy sector. Over 200 booths will feature products, technologies, and services spanning milk and dairy products, processing and packaging lines, animal feed and veterinary machines, and more.
Leading industry players such as Vinamilk, Nestle, Nutifood, and Abbott, among others, will be among the prominent exhibitors showcasing their innovations and solutions. The event will also spotlight advancements in digital transformation services and solutions, emphasizing food safety standard management systems.
VDA Chairman, Trần Quang Trung, highlighted the significance of the exhibition as a vital trade promotion event, fostering connections between local and foreign businesses. Trung emphasized its role in facilitating partnerships, expanding markets, and driving cooperation in trade, investment, and technology within Vietnam's dairy industry, ultimately bolstering competitiveness and ensuring sustainable development.
In addition to the exhibition, several conferences will be held concurrently to address key industry topics, including solutions for implementing circular economy principles, strategies for enhancing milk consumption in the Vietnamese market, and accelerating digital transformation initiatives.
Trung expressed confidence in Vietnam's dairy industry, noting its steady and modern development trajectory, from raw material production to finished products, enabling seamless integration into regional and global markets while meeting consumer demands for quality and innovation.
Despite challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, Vietnam's dairy sector demonstrated resilience, with over 1.86 billion litres of fresh milk produced in 2023, marking a 7.5 percent increase year-on-year. Powdered milk production also saw modest growth, reaching over 154,000 tonnes. Notably, the sector achieved a revenue of over VNĐ125.88 trillion (US$4.95 billion) in the face of adversity, underscoring its resilience and potential for continued growth and innovation.
