Venezuela's beef and milk prices remain stable despite currency differentials, with the majority consumed being locally produced.

Venezuela's beef and milk prices 'at the farm gate' continue to maintain stability despite recent currency fluctuations, according to Luis Pérez Stuve, president of the Venezuelan Meat Council (Convecar). Notably, the country sees no significant drop in red meat consumption, and almost 90% of consumed products, including 98% of the meat, are locally produced.
The annual per capita meat consumption stands firm at 12.5 kilograms, while daily dairy production varies from 6 to 6.5 million liters, mainly directed towards dairy derivatives.
Luis Pérez Stuve confirmed on Unión Radio that prices have stayed consistent even amidst recent exchange rate differences.
