More than 40 calves killed in dairy farm fire in Russia

A fire at a dairy farm in the village of Aginskoye in Krasnoyarsk Krai killed more than 40 calves. The farm building was almost completely destroyed.
The Krasnoyarsk Krai directorate of Russia's Ministry of Emergency Situations reported the incident on November 5. The farm is located in the Irbeysko-Sayansky Municipal District, in the southeast of the region.
According to the directorate, the fire covered more than 500 square metres.
A short circuit in the electrical wiring was identified as the preliminary cause of the fire.
