Belarus Produces 6.95 Million Tons of Milk in Nine Months

The main decline was recorded in the private sector, while agricultural organizations showed a growth of 1.3%, producing goods worth 24.8 billion rubles.
Crop Production
As of October 1, the harvest of cereals and leguminous crops (excluding corn) has been fully completed. 8 million tons of grain were harvested, which is 24.4% more than the previous year. The average yield increased to 40 quintals per hectare compared to 32.1 quintals per hectare in 2024.
Potatoes were harvested from 63% of the areas (431.7 thousand tons, +20.5%), and sugar beets from 37.5% of the areas (1.8 million tons, +17.1%).
Livestock
In nine months, 1.36 million tons of livestock and poultry (live weight), 6.95 million tons of milk, and 2.96 billion eggs were produced.
Agricultural organizations accounted for 97.9% of milk production, 97.6% of meat, and 86.3% of eggs.
The cattle population was 3.9 million heads, including 1.4 million cows, and there were 2 million pigs.
Fodder and Year-end Results
By October 1, 11.3 million tons of fodder had been prepared, including 6.9 million tons of grass fodder.
In 2024, Belarusian agriculture showed a growth of 3.4%, in 2023 — 1%, and in 2022 — 3.6%.
