As Dairy Rally 2025 brings participants from Central Asia and beyond to explore the U.S. dairy industry, one highlight will be GenOvations — a family-owned company near Madison, Wisconsin. Known for its pioneering work in bovine genetics and reproduction, GenOvations blends tradition with innovation. We spoke with the team about their approach, what visitors can expect, and why this event matters for the future of dairying.

GenOvations Opens Its Doors: A Highlight Stop on Dairy Rally 2025

Could you please tell us a little about GenOvations? What does your company specialize in, and what makes it unique?

We are a small, family-owned company located just north of Madison, Wisconsin — in a region I like to describe as the “bovine genetics capital of the world.” At GenOvations, we specialize in advanced bovine and small ruminant reproduction, including both In Vivo and In Vitro embryo production.

We have our own in-house IVF laboratory — one of only a few privately owned IVF labs in the United States. Beyond that, we focus on international embryo exports and are deeply committed to developing emerging markets worldwide. We also run embryo transfer training programs. To date, we have exported embryos to 42 different countries, which highlights both our global reach and our dedication to innovation in genetics.

What will participants experience when visiting GenOvations during the Dairy Rally?

Visitors will have a unique opportunity to tour our facility and IVF laboratory, learn about our processes, and see firsthand why we are passionate about this work. We will conduct live donor aspirations for IVF, and participants will be able to observe — and even try themselves — pipetting oocytes and embryos, as well as witnessing a live fertilization event under the microscope.

We will also provide lunch and plenty of time for open discussion, networking, and exchange of ideas about the future of agriculture in the United States and Central Asia. Our goal is to create not only a learning experience but also a warm, collaborative atmosphere.

The Dairy Rally is an incredible opportunity for participants to engage with industry leaders from across Central Asia and the United States. It creates space for networking, knowledge exchange, and collaboration, which will undoubtedly bring value to everyone involved.

I feel deeply honored that Dairy Rally has chosen GenOvations as one of its stops. We are excited to welcome participants, share our expertise, and hopefully build lifelong friendships that will strengthen the future of the dairy industry.
