Thirty Years, Together
Editor's note: a speech delivered at the evening marking Agricow's 30th anniversary.
Tonight, the first thing I feel I have to say is thank you. Because these thirty years are not only about us, but about everyone who has walked this road with us, who placed their trust in us, who chose us and stayed with us over time. This celebration is not only ours — it is also yours. If today we are here to share it with you, it is because Agricow, for us, has never been only work. It has always been sharing, passion, sacrifice, family, real life.
The truth is that, for me, Agricow is not simply turning thirty — it is turning thirty together with me. I was born in 1996, the same year my father founded Agricow, so this company has truly been part of my whole life. My earliest memories are there, in the barn where it all began. I remember a red-and-white cow named Rossina, and my father telling me she was mine; he would let me into the barn to pet her. Today it makes me smile, because he is the very one who now tells me to be careful when I step into the barn to film my videos, surrounded by cows. Yet perhaps he still hasn't realised that it was him, from when I was very little, who made me fall in love with this world.
For five years now I have worked at Agricow full time — more than full time, really — and it was the best choice I could have made. At a certain point I understood that everything I had studied and experienced elsewhere only made sense if I brought it back home. I understood that this is my place, that I believe deeply in this sector, and that the future is built this way too: by choosing to stay, to commit, and to give it everything. And I have truly lived that commitment — stepping into the barns, talking with farmers, venturing out in boot covers with a phone in my hand, getting my hands dirty, experiencing up close a world that, from the outside, is sometimes little understood or judged too lightly.
I have always seen it for what it truly is: a world that is real, complex, demanding, but also magnificent. Anyone who truly lives this world knows there is nothing superficial about it. Every choice has a real impact on the lives of the animals, on the work of the farmers, and on the daily lives of those who work with us. That is why our work is not only about offering a product or a solution, but about studying, building, improving, and seeing the result in real life. And that, to me, is worth an enormous amount. From all of this comes the greatest value I carry within me: the example of a united family. A family that talks things through, debates, at times even clashes, but that in the end does everything with a single wish — to be happy together.
That is why success, for us, is never only the company's. It is a shared success. And so I want to say thank you — to my parents, to my sister, to my brother, to my relatives, to my grandmother, and also to those who are no longer with us, to our whole team, and to everyone who, over these years, has believed in us, worked with us, and helped to build this journey.
And it is from here that we want to keep going: from thirty years of history that are not merely a milestone, but a foundation on which to build the future together, with the same passion and the same desire to improve that have carried us this far.
