In a detailed assessment of the UK's Holstein genomic young sires, Peak AltaValuepack emerges as the new frontrunner with a Profitable Lifetime Index (PLI) of £877. This bull stands out due to its balanced profile featuring significant health traits, contributing to its high HealthyCow rating of £203. This reflects anticipated health and fertility benefits for its daughters.

Denovo 20771 Segment follows closely with a PLI of £876, improving its position with a notable Calf Survival rating of +2.6, while Denovo 20893 Harmony, a former leader, now ranks third (PLI £875) but maintains excellence in milk production metrics.

Progenesis Preston and Denovo 20723 Columbia, ranked fourth and fifth respectively, also show impressive production capabilities and Efficiency Indices. Marco Winters of AHDB highlights the stability and diverse genetic selection available, essential for breeding plans.
