Technical program at EuroTier 2026 addresses international topics
For EuroTier 2026, the world’s leading trade fair for professional animal husbandry and livestock management, the DLG (German Agricultural Society), organizer, expects a large number of exhibitors from Germany and abroad. With the guiding theme “Intelligence in animal farming”, EuroTier 2026 covers all livestock species relevant to agriculture, including cattle, pigs, poultry, sheep, goats and horses.
New features in 2026 are the “EuroTier Milky Way”, the “DLG VetCon”, “Innovation Boulevard” and “Forage Production”. Visitors can experience live demonstrations and special exhibitions on key topics of the show at the DLG Spotlights. In addition, nine EuroTier „Expert Stages” will feature presentations, talks, panel discussions and extensive networking opportunities.
The focus of EuroTier 2026 is on intelligent technologies for efficient, sustainable and welfare oriented livestock farming. The trade fair provides a comprehensive overview of innovations and established standards that contribute to sustainable productivity gains.
DLG Spotlights: New features and premieres
At the DLG Spotlights, visitors can expect live demonstrations and selected exhibits on core topics. The “Barn Robot Event” returns in 2026. This year, participating milking technology manufacturers will present the latest robotic solutions for automatic milking. The program focuses on three scenarios: Retrofitting: Fr om parlour to robot; new-build solutions; and milking in large herds.
At the “DLG Spotlight: Emission Reduction”, exhibitors will showcase innovative methods and technologies to reduce emissions in pig and poultry production.
Another highlight is the annual “TopTierTreff” (Top cattle genetics), the central meeting place for national and international breeders. Leading companies and organizations will present current breeding strategies and in a generous space designed for knowledge exchange, networking and innovation in dairy and beef cattle breeding. Animals will this year not be transported to the stage but will remain at their individual stalls and be shown via video on a panoramic screen.
The “Innovation Boulevard“ makes its debut in 2026. For the first time, exhibitors can present their registered innovations in a central area.
Another premiere is the DLG Spotlight: “Forage Production”. Exhibitors will showcase what smart farming means in forage production and how feed quality can be positively influenced in various processes, from cutting to silage. The new dedicated “Forage Days” on 12 and 13 November complement the program. As part of the DLG Spotlight, the DLG Expert Stage Cattle will focus specifically on needs based feeding of ruminants.

The DLG Expert Stages are the thematic focal points of the trade fair. On nine stages, visitors will find a comprehensive program of presentations, talks, discussions and networking opportunities covering all livestock species, related topics and partner trade fairs of EuroTier 2026:
EuroTier’s networking formats and international events serve as platforms for agriculture, agribusiness, trade, science, engineering, start ups and young professionals. Several new formats and two new theme days will debut at the world-leading trade fair. Established elements such as the Science Campus and the Start-up Area will also feature.

International Poultry Conference and Poultry Event: On 9 November 2026, experts from around the world will discuss current developments and challenges in the poultry industry.
International Farmers Day: On 11 November 2026, EuroTier will host a global exchange platform for farmers. The focus countries are Ireland, Poland and the UK.
International Cattle & Pig Event: Held on Wednesday, 11 November 2026, this event brings together current topics related to cattle and pig production. International experts from practice, science and policy will discuss solutions for future ready, welfare-oriented and economically viable livestock farming.
Young Professionals Day: On Thursday, 12 November 2026, young farmers, engineers and scientists will be offered a compact program of talks, discussions and interactive activities. The day concludes with the well-known Young Farmers Party.
DLG VetCon: The DLG VetCon – powered by EuroTier (12–13 November 2026) is the new international forum for large-animal veterinarians. It combines training, networking and innovation, providing an ideal setting for professional exchange with agricultural practitioners. A foyer exhibition enables direct contact with service providers and partners.
Female Agri Fellows Networking Event: This networking event offers women in agriculture the opportunity to connect in an informal setting. Participants will meet inspiring personalities and get the chance to meet the winners of the Women in Ag Awards in the United Nations International Year of the Woman Farmer (IYWF 2026).
