Sumul Dairy and Suzuki Collaborate to Transform Cattle Dung into Biofuel

In a significant move towards sustainable energy, Sumul Dairy, the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB), and Suzuki Motor Corporation have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a Compressed Biogas (CBG) plant in Surat, India. This collaborative effort aims to convert cattle dung into biofuel, providing a new revenue stream for local farmers and supporting India's green energy initiatives.

The project capitalizes on Sumul Dairy's extensive milk-collection network to ensure a steady supply of feedstock fr om local farmers.
