SFM Explores Partnership Opportunities with Kazakhstan's Livestock Farms
The company specializes in reproductive technologies and maintains a bank of embryos for dairy and beef cattle breeds. The list includes Holstein, Jersey, Simmental, Charolais, Limousin, and Blonde d’Aquitaine breeds.
Potential areas of work in Kazakhstan include the supply of embryos, performing embryo transfers and early ultrasound pregnancy diagnoses, as well as training of veterinarians and farm technicians.
According to SFM, the company has been operating in the field of reproductive technologies for cattle for over 15 years. The production of embryos is reportedly organized in compliance with sanitary requirements of the International Embryo Technology Society (IETS) and the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH).
The proposal is currently preliminary. There is no information provided about agreements signed with Kazakhstani farms, the volume of future supplies, or project implementation timelines.
