Rock End Farm Dairy opens a raw-milk vending machine

Rock End Farm Dairy began operating the machine on Sunday, October 11. It is located on Park Lane in Knypersley, where another farm business, Shakes on the Rocks, already runs a milk vending machine.

The new outlet is open every day between 10.30am and 6.30pm. Customers can buy raw milk produced by Rock End Farm Dairy, along with cheese made by the farm and free-range eggs.

In a social-media announcement, the dairy invited customers to buy “fresh, local raw milk straight from our farm”. The business also thanked people for their supportive comments and feedback, and said that shopping locally supported the farm.

Rock End Farm Dairy has added farm visits to the vending-machine offering. The visits include a live milking experience and are arranged as private tours lasting one hour.

The price for a private farm tour starts at £15. The dairy said further information about the tours was available through its online information page.

The vending machine is the latest of two such facilities on the same road identified in the report. The business’s opening hours and the tour offer were announced alongside the launch of the Park Lane outlet.
