Milk Production in the CIS Exceeded 31.8 Million Tons in the First Half of 2025

In CIS countries, milk production from January to June 2025 amounted to 31.8 million tons, which is 1.7% more compared to the same period last year.

The leading country in the dairy industry of the region remains Russia, with volumes reaching 16.9 million tons (+0.3%). Belarus ranks second with 4.6 million tons (+0.9%), followed by Uzbekistan with 5.6 million tons (+0.5%).
Among Central Asian countries, Kyrgyzstan showed the highest growth: production increased by 2.4% to 0.86 million tons. In Kazakhstan, the volume was 1.85 million tons (+0.7%), and in Tajikistan, 0.44 million tons (+0.5%).
Negative dynamics were recorded in Armenia (-1.2%) and Moldova (-2.3%).
