At the beginning of his speech, the diplomat noted that the dairy sector holds a central place in France's agricultural structure.
According to the ambassador, there are about 58,000 dairy farms in France, ensuring sustainable production and deep processing of products. "This is the foundation of the country's agri-food economy," he emphasized.

The diplomat placed special emphasis on the current level of cooperation: about 20% of Kazakhstan's dairy product imports fr om the EU are of French origin.
According to Sylvain Guioge, this is not the lim it. France's existing technological solutions in genetics, feeding, herd management, and process automation have already proven effective in international projects and can be adapted to Kazakhstani conditions.
"The sector demonstrates rich potential, opening opportunities for expanded cooperation with France," the ambassador noted.
The ambassador specifically emphasized the importance of French developments in genetics and highlighted that this area will remain a flagship of bilateral cooperation.
He noted that France is ready to share its expertise in:
-
dairy cattle genetics,
-
breeding and breed management,
-
innovative feeding approaches,
-
dairy farm digitalization.
"Our joint efforts should form the basis for successful cooperation," the diplomat emphasized.
