Ornua Ingredients Europe to Close Ledbury, UK Site

Ornua Ingredients Europe has confirmed the closure of its Ledbury site in the UK, set to occur in May, which will impact approximately 115 employees, as reported by the Hereford Times. The facility, known for producing formatted natural and processed cheeses, serves the food manufacturing, foodservice, and fast-food sectors. Alongside these production capabilities, the site also hosts Ornua Ingredients Europe's center of excellence for innovation, equipped with a full pilot plant and test kitchen facilities.

The decision follows a completed consultation process and results in the transfer of most of the plant's facilities to two locations: Nantwich in the UK and Avila in Spain.
