German Technology and Kazakh Milk: Dry Mare's Milk Production Launched in North Kazakhstan Region
The production capacity of the new enterprise is 40 tons of dry mare's milk per year. The products are intended for export to the pharmaceutical, sports, and food industries.
"The uniqueness of the project lies in the fact that dry mare's milk will become not just a local product but an export brand of the region. Specialists from Germany participated in its creation, and European-level equipment was used. This is the second such enterprise in Kazakhstan," noted the First Deputy Akim of the North Kazakhstan Region, Marat Tasmaganbetov.
German expert Hans Zollman, who participated in the production launch, emphasized that the product meets high international standards: "It is a completely natural product that can even be consumed by infants. It requires no additives, which is its uniqueness."
To ensure uninterrupted production, a herd of 400 mares adapted to the northern climate has been created.
"The optimal number is 400 heads. Milking one group takes about 20–25 minutes, and the entire herd is serviced in one and a half hours," explained the Deputy General Director for Animal Husbandry, Meiram Akhmetzhanov.
The enterprise is equipped with modern German installations for milk drying, ensuring gentle processing and preservation of biologically active substances. The production cycle is fully automated and meets European food safety requirements.
Dry mare's milk is already being called the new export brand of the North Kazakhstan Region, capable of strengthening Kazakhstan's image as a supplier of innovative and natural premium products.
